How much money do you plan to raise?
Our goal is 100K. (We've reached our goal in 2017, and $105,400 were raised throughout our campaign. Huge THANKS to our supporters).

Why not use Kickstarter or other crowd funding campaigns?
We have done several campaigns via Kickstarter and other crowd funding sites in the past, but as of late, it has become a overdone platform for fundraising. Ebay is a unique approach as it provides a service that generates funds for the film.

What does the money go to?
Every dollar allows us to create a better film. From securing the essential needs of a film production such as locations, equipment, crew, and actors, to post production needs like editing, color correction and promotion.

What kinds of products are you looking for?
It could be as simple as a mug to a piece of furniture. Anything that is taking up unwanted space in your closet.

Is there anything you won't take as a donation?
Yes, items such as Perishable Food, Firearms, Alcohol, Drug Paraphernalia, Pornography, or Stolen Property. If in doubt check http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/items-ov.html

I have tons of things in my home that I would like to donate. Can you come pick them up?
Yes, we provide pick up anywhere in NYC, 15 item minimum is ideal

I have some pieces of furniture and/or very large items that I would like to donate.  Do you take them?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept furniture and other large items as donations; however, there are a few exceptions, such as large electronics. If you are unsure whether or not your item qualifies, send us photos (preferably expressing the scale of the item) and we will get back to you. Our email is info@ebaymyfilm.com

Can I drop a box of donations at your office?

I would love to donate to the film, but I live outside of NYC. How can I donate?

I have an item that I would like to donate but it's defective. Can I still donate it?
Sometimes we do accept defective items if we see a potential to sell it for repairs, parts or as a prop. Email us with questions and photos at donate@EbayMyFilm.com

I have donated a couple of items, how do I know when it is listed?

Can I get a share on the profit of the items I've donated?  
We don't share the profit with our donors since the items come as a donation; however, you can get some cool perks with your donation. I want to help the campaign, but I don't want a film credit.
That's all good with us. The donation can be anonymous.

How do you come up with the price for each item?
We go with the average price for each similar item listed on Ebay. But we usually lower the price if the item takes more than two weeks to sell.

I donated some items but only a few of them have been posted on Ebay. What happened to the rest of the items?
It might be that the item has already been sold or is still waiting to be listed. We receive a large number of donations every day and not all of them are listed at once.

I can't find the store but I would love to purchase!
